Blepharoplasty
Upper Blephs or Upper Eye Lid Surgery
Upper Eye Lid surgery is performed on a regular basis in our clinic here at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. The procedure removes excess skin and fat from your eyelids and tightens the tissue around the area, if this procedure is required and suitable for the patient, this maybe a patient’s first procedure at freshening up their face.
This surgery can be performed by local anesthetic as well as General anesthetic and as a relatively short recovery.
Here is an example of Upper Blephs taken Before surgery and 4 months after surgery, by Mr Winterton. As you can see the procedure if required can open up the eyes.
This procedure can also be performed alongside lower Blephs and a facelift, but with one of the other procedures attached will require a general anesthetic.
Here is an example of Upper and Lower Blephs
I also have an example of a male Upper and Lower Blephs
This is just a very brief look at Blephs, Blepharoplasty or Eye Lid surgery.
